Chef James Syhabout
Objective:
Chef James Syhabout is renowned for having the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Oakland (Commis, two Michelin stars), bringing his authentic Laotian Thai cuisine to the Bay Area with Hawker Fare, and debuted a new cookbook under Anthony Bourdain’s publishing imprint.
As a Food & Wine “Best New Chef” alum with various James Beard Award nominations, the goal was to build awareness for Chef as a culinary leader and expert. Utilize his restaurants and cookbook contract to drive coverage.
